The Annual Monochrome Competition took place on the 8th of May and was judged by local professional photographer Mike Rich, our thanks go to him for an excellent evening and the many constructive suggestions that he made about each entry.

There was an entry of over 50 prints and our thanks go to Mike who ably judged and placed the prints. In 1st place was Ian Boulton LRPS with Ex Army Man. Second place went to Kim Pickup LRPS with Gloucester Cathedral Cloisters and in third place Ian Boulton LRPS with Protecting Tesco, every little helps.

 Ian is the first member to receive the new 'Presidents Cup' which will be awarded annually for monochrome prints.
